It's a Mom's world

It's no longer a man's world. It's a mom's world! Mom's have one of the hardest jobs out there. And if you're like me, some days you're just trying to get by without pulling one more grey hair out of your head. It's challenging. It's happy. It's memorable. And it's our lives. I'm not going to sugar coat anything here. I look at these pictures and different posts on Pinterest and I wonder "Who ARE these people?" that make motherhood look like some type of fantasy land. It's not about having perfect kids all the time. Where are the pictures of chocolate milk spilled on your floor? Where are the pictures of jelly splattered on your ceiling? (Well, maybe that just happened to me). What about the days that your kids come in from outside and you swore you didn't put knee high socks on them before. Only to find out that they are indeed NOT knee high socks, it's just dirt. Or the days of going to the dryer to get out your freshly washed clothes, only to find that someone, SOMEONE had a crayon in their pocket. I have yet to find out who it was, by the way. Not all days are glitter and rainbows. There are messy days. There are days you want to cry. And there are days you actually DO cry. But there are also days that you can look at your kids and think "Wow, I have the best kids out there". A moment where you can feel proud of the job you've done by the politeness or the kindness your kids show. Some days you just can't put your camera down because you don't want to miss a moment of how awesome your kids are.  Or days where you feel that God has blessed you beyond belief with the task of raising these amazing little people. So, it's a challenging life sometimes. But it's a glorious one too. And all these moments don't ever happen anywhere else, but in a mom's world.
